We are thrilled to announce a 2nd virtual wine tasting with WLC Member Jennifer Frisk!

Building off of our event last year, Jennifer will continue around the globe (don’t worry, still in France) to Provence and Languedoc, and then back to the US, to Washington! If all of this sounds foreign to you, join us to drink / taste some wine!  

Nothing says summer like Rose, but the Rose varietal is incredibly varied. You can order a light pink glass, perfect for the beach (or south of France) or a super dark glass, that more closely resembles cough syrup! We will learn about different types of rose, with wines from 2 different regions of Frances, as well as some sparkling US bubbles.

Jennifer’s love of wine started early on, and was fueled by “research” for a family vineyard. And, in an industry where male dominated closing dinners are the norm, she took it upon herself to attach some actual knowledge to the consumption. Jen has taken classes at the Napa Valley Wine Academy, and is currently making her way through the UCLA Wine Education & Management Program. She loves to try new wines, is a sucker for a 2015 Bordeaux, and thinks wine is one of the only things you should be buying at Costco (other than toilet paper and paper towels).

We will be sampling Chateau d’Esclans Whispering Angel, Bertrand Cote des Roses and House Wine Rose Bubbles.

After RSVPing and prepaying for the event, we will be delivering to your home 2 bottles and 2 cans of rose from Total Wine and More. RSVP with your delivery address to mayleewitham@hotmail.com by August 24th. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing the Zoom link to join the virtual event.
