“Building a media brand in all forms that it takes” - a Fireside Chat with Liz Jenkins of Hello Sunshine

Liz Jenkins is the COO of Hello Sunshine, a media brand and content company founded by Reese Witherspoon and dedicated to female authorship and storytelling across all platforms. Liz joined the company in 2018 as its CFO. During her time at Hello Sunshine, she has been responsible for establishing and overseeing finance, business affairs, physical production and operations as well as facilitating the growth of the company’s business, including their Scripted, Unscripted, and Kids & Animation studios and Reese’s Book Club — all of which put women or girls at the center of each narrative. Previously, Liz served as the Head of Strategic Ventures for Sony PlayStation and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy at Media Rights Capital where she developed and implemented innovative distribution models, strategic partnerships and new businesses across film and television. She began her career at GE and Credit Suisse.

Liz serves on the board and audit committee of Snap Inc. (NYSE: SNAP); she also is a board member and Treasurer of GLAAD. Liz received her MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and her BA from Stanford University.
